This zine is planned to be for profit in a yearbook-style format containing SFW content from both Soul Eater and Soul Eater NOT!.

General Guidelines:
If accepted to the zine, you must have a Discord account as we will be using that as our main communication tool.Applicants must also have a PayPal account as this is a for-profit zine, unless they wish to forgo their payment.If accepted to the zine, please DO NOT ghost us. We’ll be contacting you first by Discord and if we have received no reply, we’ll message you through your social media accounts. Email will be our last resort, and if we still do not hear from you (over the span of seven days where we have tried to contact you through every possible means) we’ll have to drop you and call for a pinch hitter.For pieces made during the creation period, please do not publicly post previews of the pieces unless you have the mods’ permission to do so.Be kind and respectful not only towards the mods, but also to other contributors that are participating. If you have any conflicts or concerns, please reach out to a mod and we'll try to come up with a solution that works for everyone.Please double check if we can access your file links, especially if using Google Drive.
Artist Guidelines:
Artists will be asked to submit a maximum of three (3) main samples. Artists must provide an accessible link to each submitted piece. [Note: please double check if your links are working!]Each piece must be a completed artwork with full coloring; with backgrounds being optional. A Soul Eater piece is not mandatory but preferred.All pieces must be SFW and any notable tags/trigger warnings must be properly advised when filling out the application form.Artists’ pieces will be assessed based on a variety of factors (like: anatomy, colouring, composition, perspective, shading, posing, and background if applicable). We will also look at how well the artist’s style will work with our chosen theme.
Writer Guidelines:
Writers will be asked to submit a maximum of three (3) main samples. Writers must provide an accessible link to each submitted piece. [Note: please double check if your links are working!]Each piece must be between 1.5K to 2.5K words. The total word count for all 3 pieces must not exceed 9K.A Soul Eater piece is not mandatory but preferred.At least one of the pieces must be a complete fic. Excerpts from longer pieces are accepted.All pieces must be SFW and any notable tags/trigger warnings must be properly advised when filling out the application form.Writers’ pieces will be assessed on a variety of factors including grammar, story structure, use of dialogue, ability to craft a complete story within the given word count, characterization, and (platonic) relationship dynamics. We will also look at whether the writer’s style will work with our chosen theme.
Merch Artist Guidelines:
Merch artists will be asked to submit a maximum of three (3) main samples. Merch artists must provide an accessible link to each submitted piece. [Note: please double check if your links are working!]Illustrations of previously made merch are accepted.A Soul Eater piece is not mandatory but preferred.All pieces must be SFW and any notable tags/trigger warnings must be properly advised when filling out the application form.We encourage merch artists to submit illustrations or samples for different types of merch (sticker, keychain/charm, prints, etc).Merch Artists’ pieces will be assessed based on a variety of factors such as anatomy, color usage, composition, perspective, shading, posing, and background if applicable. Aside from these, we will also look at the relevance of the submitted pieces to the merch offerings that we have planned for the project.

FAQ:
Will this zine be physical?
We would love for this zine to be physical, however the route we go will depend on the interest check.
Where will the proceeds for the zine go?
This zine will be for profit!
Are minors allowed to apply?
Yes, though we have an age restriction. Anyone 16 years or older may apply to the zine. Additionally, minors will only be compensated with zine bundles and merch since they cannot be paid legally.
How will contributors be compensated?
We will aim to compensate everyone with a zine plus merch, with any remaining profits being split between non-minor contributors and mods.
Do I need to have a Discord account?
Yes, a Discord account is required if you are accepted into the zine. We will share announcements, updates, and general communications in the zine server.
